Anarchy Moment 0350 – Movie Review: Tank Girl. As Bad As You Expect It To Be But Not For The Reasons You Expect It To Be Bad.

The Great One watches Tank Girl. He was expecting it to be a bad movie and he was right. The badness doesn’t arise from politics or feminism or any of that sort of stuff however. The badness arises from the fact that this movie has way too much going on and at times makes little sense.
This movie can’t decide what it wants to be when it grows up.
Here are my notes from watching the movie:
just a girl you want song – no she isn’t
boyfriend’s birthday
music way too loud – as usual
inserting comic book stills – does save money
move shows it’s age – tank girl don’t hate men
today ‘she’ would be a lesbian non-binary trannie
“you lack the courage”
cutting off stockings and clothing
they get invaded while she’s fucking around on guard duty
gun fire = way loud – how about some fantasy
breaks his neck – “what?”
shower scene – dust – shitty music – underwear on
rippers kill everyone but her?
no one’s seen a ripper
she’s very childish
just as I started liking it – animation sequence with shitty music
terrible comic still / shitty music montage
then it turned into a musical
instead of rescuing the girl
aimless, clueless, immature
all her friends got killed
little girl kidnapped
boyfriend dead or missing
she’s taking pictures of her underwear
too flippant/immature – comic yes – but too over the top
shit music

too over the top
jet girl is the best part
what is so special about tank girl?

jet was working for you

it’s like she stole Harley Quinn’s personality
when did the tank become sentiant?

tried too hard to be too much
not feminist

jet girl made the transformation
tank girl never changes

why was anyone doing what they were doing?
