When people say “you can’t have morals without God” they mean that the morals themselves can’t exist without a God. Without a God there is no “should”.
Your argument about Christians not following their own morals is akin to saying mathematicians screwing up equations means that math doesn’t.
Whether or not you follow morals is an entirely different topic than whether or not the morals themselves exist.
