It took 20 years for just SOME nerve cells in America’s Nervous System to identify that America has had its hand on the higher education stove for all this time. And despite my and other’s best efforts, do you have any clue how long it’s going to take for America and her institutions to do something about it?

First, Academia is THOROUGHLY entrenched in its mob-like shake down of America’s children. No honest studies or efforts at reforming themselves for the betterment of America’s labor force and America it self should be expected. Yes, there’s WGU and a movement to go online, but these institutions should have been the norm, not the exception, A DECADE AGO.

Second, the likes of Mr. Krupnick and Joe Soucheray are the exception, not the rule in the MSM. They’re actual journalists.

And though it may sound petty and sad, I believe most people in the media today simply have too much pride to admit their degrees were worthless, and are too steeped in pro-education-forever indoctrination commonly found in their heavily-left biased environment.

They may know their hands are on the stove, but just can’t bring themselves to admit it. At minimum it will be pulling teeth to get the MSM to admit there’s an education bubble.

Third, basic ignorance of the normies and conformies. Specifically American parents. I still cannot believe that Gen X parents today, who were likely the first victims of earning worthless degrees, regurgitate the same slop their Baby Boomer parents feed them 35 years ago. “Any degree’s a good degree.” “You need that sheepskin.” Even if 16 year old read the newspapers, the stereo brainwashing they get between their teachers and parents that they MUST go to college is deafening.

We are fighting the Civil War all over again. That war, which Leftist zombies insist was about slavery, was a clash of civilizations between a non-urban/traditional South and an urban/cosmopolitan North. Cities make people anonymous, and cosmopolitanism means they reject the idea of a single standard of behavior and values.

The South wanted social order, and the North wanted to exert control over the part of the country which made the raw material upon which the city depended. Without conquering the farms, the city was unstable.

Cities, after all, do not produce anything; they “add value” by taking raw materials and converting them into products, most of which are sold on the basis of convenience or novelty more than quality.

This makes them unstable because they require people different than them whose values conflict with theirs.

Country values after all are realistic, or based on achieving production and defending against real threats; city values are social, or based on making others like you enough to succeed in the popularity contest of life. These two clash because social popularity is based in ironic denial of reality, or perhaps even reality defiance.

The two are thus opposites. City people like that which makes a group happy, where country people like what works.

After Charlottesville, however, the Alt Right proved its point: government and the organized Left are colluding, and the innocent demands of the Alt Right for the ability to speak its message have triggered Soviet-style reprisals, show trials, and a media blitz attempting to invert the narrative.

Although the Left will not admit it, Charlottesville was a win for the Alt Right because everything it said was true was proven true at the hands of the Left. Yes, a mental case showed up and panicked, driving his car into another car, at which point an obese Leftist protestor dropped dead. Most people do not see that as a big event.

In the meantime, Leftist policies and the philosophies that support them continue failing. Diversity has turned into a rape, crime, and political corruption festival. The individualism of the West has made people atomized and miserable. The welfare state produces lunatics and obesity.

Sexism means seeing that feminism and sexual liberation have destroyed the family.

Islamophobia (and related anti-Semitism and anti-Chinese sentiment) merely identifies a competing group that may seek to control us, since groups naturally compete.

Something is going to take over. It will drive you. Modernity is happy to offer it up. Progress can become your eternal prison and your ineffable damnation. It can become a hedonic treadmill. There is an unending acquisition horizon. You have to “grow”. You have to “reach.”

It’s never enough. That’s by design. It keeps you in a box. There isn’t any sane or sensible way to encourage cooperation or societal commonweal. The entire rat race is designed the way it is because the society we live in pretty much believes we are all rats. If we validate this thesis by participating, that thesis will never change. Why should it? The progressive society gets what it wants. Your submission.

A school shooter arrested outside the front door without any dead is a failure. His fifteen minutes of fame go from glory to humiliation, and he still must endure the world that he rightly loathes. Instead of all of this nonsense about regulating guns, we should regulate people who are likely to be school shooters.

This in turn requires us to face the difficult truth about life in the West. Many of the people around us are crazy, not to the level that requires clinical care, but they are not good, either. They will indulge in selfish and antisocial behavior to the degree that we allow them, although they will avoid any acts that might result in public criticism. Even worse, they are aimless; their lives are driven by appetites, compulsions, desires, trends, and competition, but they have no direction of their own. They just react to what is there, and their minds are incapable of clear analysis and ideation.

In the past, we regulated such people by flinging them into lower social classes and limiting their influence on just about anything. It was harder for them to get weapons, or have any influence over others, because those were the realm of the upper classes who were saner, smarter, and morally alert to a greater degree.

When we unleash our serfs and servant-caste people through the magic of “equality,” suddenly we are awash in insanity which cannot be checked by the superior wisdom of better people. It is not surprising that this has made a hellish world full of the deranged who shoot up their schools.
