Photos were once about documentation but now they exist primarily for self-validation. The thought of taking a photo of a restaurant meal and then posting it on social media is complete anathema to me. It’s not that I can’t understand the mentality of someone who does this; I simply have no desire to do so.

I have a Facebook page which I primarily use to keep in contact with people all around the world, as well as to post videos of cats eating squirrels.

The correlation is noticeable between people whose lives are a never ending series of disasters and their proclivity to post photos of themselves and their poor children.

For those of you unfamiliar with the shit test, it usually occurs in a budding relationship within the first 8 weeks. Everything will have been going really nicely until one day when your new girlfriend wakes up and for no apparent reason behaves like a complete and utter bitch to you. To be fair, this is part shit test and part the voices in her head that cannot be completely subdued.

Women use the shit test to find out whether the new man that they are thinking of hitching their wagon to is actually made of stern stuff. The correct response to a shit test is to be completely calm in the face of her fury.

Do not attempt to enter into any arguments of logic or rationality.

Do not under any circumstances offer any defense for your supposed heinous crimes against womanhood.

Do not throw any crockery in her general direction, no matter how tempting this may be.

Wait until she’s just about worn herself out and then tell her to stop being a stupid cow and go and make you some breakfast. Outwardly she will be furious with you. But inside she will be delirious with sweet relief. For you are the shore upon which the waves of her emotions break and shatter into nothingness.

But I would posit that Cathy Newman herself is a glaring example of why so few women are to be found in the lofty realms of CEO-land. Newman admits during the interview that she is a ruthless and hard edged careerist who has fought her way towards the top of her profession. But she simultaneously displays both an appalling lack of judgement and a level of professional ineptness that is almost superhuman in its awfulness.

Newman is the composite example of a woman who has manipulated her way towards the top by the exploitation of the feminist agenda that pervades the modern corporate culture, whilst loudly decrying the imaginary patriarchal hierarchy that supposedly kept her down for all this time.

That these two ideas are mutually exclusive is as lost on her as every tidbit of truth that Dr Peterson softly lobbed in her general direction.

Older Guys Stupidly Getting Serious With Women Who Are Way Too Young

Likely a result of the above trend, in the last few years I’ve seen a massive upswing in the number of older men (men in their 30’s to 50’s) getting into very serious relationships (with long-term expectations) with women who are as young as 18 to 22. Usually these relationships are monogamous. Many times they move in together.

As I talked about here, this is utterly stupid. If you want to have sex with younger women, by all means go for it. But, Jesus you idiots, getting into a serious relationship with a woman that young, with long-term expectations, particularly the expectations of any kind of monogamy or exclusivity, is one of the dumbest things older men do.

Look pal, that 20 year-old girlfriend you just moved in with is a teenager. It doesn’t matter if she’s over 19.

If she’s about age 22 or under, she’s a teenager. Do you seriously expect a fucking teenager to do what she promises over the long haul? Do you seriously expect her to not fuck other guys? Do you seriously expect her to not just bail on you whenever she gets bored?

Hell, it’s hard enough for women in their 30’s and 40’s to not do these things! By getting into this kind of relationship with a god damn teenager, you’re asking, nay, BEGGING for a huge pile of future problems.

As I’ve been saying for many years, over and over again, the Western world is moving more to the political left with every passing day. Even post-Trump, America is becoming more left-wing.

If you don’t believe this, read this article where I show with clear data how left-wing America is becoming, and this article where I show that even Generation Z is left-wing. This also applies to already left-wing regions/nations like Canada, Australia, and Europe, which are becoming even more left-wing.

This left-wing growth will continue for a very long time, will not stop, and can’t be stopped (unless everything collapses). Understand this and accept this. In the original celebrity harassment article, I blamed the shithead men like Harvey Wienstein for causing this problem, and I still do. But the reality is all this would have still eventually happened simply because of the continuing left-wing shift of Western society.

So expect this shit and don’t let it shock you. This is the same scenario as when so many of you were freaking out about the insane “yes means yes” college thing. You guys were like “OH MY GOD THIS IS TERRIBLE!!! RRRRAAAAHHHH!!!” and I was like, “Yep, more of the same. Why are any of you surprised?” It’s the same deal here.

This is going to get worse, guys. Get ready for it, calibrate your actions if necessary, and don’t let it shock you every time it happens, particularly to celebrities and rich people, both of whom tend to be targets in ways you likely never will be.

It’s also not nearly as big of a deal for you as you think it is, but I’ll get to that at the end of the article.

So what? The skeptic may ask. You can never get enough smart people. Contrary to this sweetness and light, yes. Yes, you can have more educated people than you have sinecures. You may revel in the idea of the epistemolgically perfect Starbucks Barista. But only if you’ve never read Dostoyevsky’s Notes From The Underground.

Vedder says, philosophical and normative desires for a highly educated Amerika aside, yes; there can be too many smart people. We all have a role to play in a well-balanced world. An ecological niche. By rough analogy, we could argue the same of a society. We all have a niche and only one or two get to be the baddest Silverbacks in the Human Jungle.

Educated people with no role to play in a society are ultimately a cancer and a profound waste of resources. You could get ten good, functional plumbers for the price of one epistmologically brilliant barista. When the crap hits the fan at 3am nobody is paying $125/hr to call over the barista.

Caplan takes the Vedder paradox a step further. He actually argues that it is individually advantageous for smart and ambitious people to deliberately unbalance their society. 25% of college attendees get personal benefits while only 5% of them do a whole lot of good for society. In other words, using cognitive seperation (a higher IQ) to get a set of credentials empowers a lot of people without reference to whether it helps society. It allows these chosen few to compete for a set of jobs a lot of people could do, but a limited minority get to try out for. This mathematically almost has to make Amerika a worse place. Anything that winnows the talent pool from which excellence is selected will cause there to be equal or less excellence. Sending a bunch of forkwits to college isn’t going to make for a better world, just a Dunning-Kruger one.

And what we ultimately get is a bunch of people who see their own personal indoctrination with useless factoids as a badge of honor and superiority. They know nothing. They don’t even know what they don’t know.

They’ve got that magic credential. They totally should be in charge. And you will meet them in every job site. You will meet them in any church or community activity. They don’t ask why you disagree with them, they demand your credentials to have a right to disagree with them. They are the corporate world’s answer to The Cuckservative. PJ O’Rourke aptly termed them The Management Meatballs. They don’t go well with spaghetti or on a sub.
