The Post Office and Health Care
Hussein Obama the Fist and the Second admits the Post Office “is always having problems” while private sector postal services are doing fine and this is an argument, in his mind, for having the government run health care as well.
I’m terrified. More than usual.
Look, a reporter with testicles. Watch Hussein Obama try to avoid the question.
Okay, “reform has to control costs.” Not true. The White House has since admitted that the cost of health care will go up when the government takes over. Further more you can find no instance, ever, of the government taking over anything and controlling cost. Cost spirals out of control when the government in running a system because the government has unlimited funds thanks to the tax payers and it’s ability to borrow money on demand. Cost is not going to be controlled. This is a fantasy.
Ultimately he may have a “strong opinion”. Wow. Change!
There are going to be some rules for insurance companies. Those are called regulations. Great. That will help.
The government is not going to force you to change your health care plan, but he’s going to let employers force you to change plans by shutting down their plans or raising cost.
How many times have I said it – we need to separate health care insurance from employers. Let people purchase their insurance from any company they want just like we do with automobile insurance. That has the best chance of both being implemented in the real world and making the situation better. Which is probably why it will never happen.
