relationships are an exchange of value, there is no value in getting someone pregnant, being extorted for child support, and not even having the pleasure of sleeping with the person who is using you as a meal ticket for the next 18 years. there is no value in being in the same situation as a single parent with partial custody instead of having a child and being in a family.

why would any man want to father a child and not be in a relationship?

another reason you should adopt is after 35 the chances of birth defects, retardation, downe syndrome etc go up significantly.
