If you don’t buy Messiah Care you must pay additional taxes. If you don’t pay additional taxes you will go to prison. If you resist going to prison you will be subjected to force, violence and possible death. To a statist this is “not a mandate”.

By contrast if you create value for a customer, the customer gives you money in return, you give that money to a hospital and the hospital provides you with value in return the statist calls this “selfish”.
