Stating The Obvious 0109 – We Need One More Law

You really aren’t going to like this one. Would one more law have stopped James Eagon Holms from shooting people who just wanted to watch the Batman movie in Aurora? No it wouldn’t and I’m going to explain why.

The State is ecstatic about the Batman shooting. You sheep are not terrified to go to the cinema. You are going to beg for more security at cinemas. There will be metal detectors at cinemas. Poeple will be going to therapists. People will be begging for more laws. People will be voting to raise taxes to pay for more police.

I explain why more laws would not have prevented this shooting, nor will laws prevent the next shooting. Laws do not alter the behaviour of intelligent people or insane people. Laws only alter the behaviour of the 99% who do not have morals.

If the reason you don’t kill people is because “it’s against the law” that means you have no morals. If you think “one more law” would have stopped this idiot from killing people who just wanted to watch Batman that means you are stupid.

Wow, what could make a person in our society think that violence is an acceptable way to behave? Gosh . . . I’m baffled. The State which controls our society is entirely based on force, the threat of violence or imprisonment and killing people who do not comply. I wonder if that might be a factor?

If 13 people were killed by the DEA or by a drone strike the nation would celebrate. But when someone not part of the State murders people suddenly murder is bad umkay.

What about all the people who didn’t go out last night and shoot people at the cinema? What if there was some perspective on this?

A gas mask-wearing gunman opened fire on moviegoers at a midnight showing of the latest Batman movie Friday, killing at least 12 and injuring dozens more in one of the deadliest mass shootings in recent U.S. history.

Apparently the people the state has murdered in Afghanistan are not part of “recent U.S. history”.

Police recovered four guns at the theater – one shotgun, two pistols and what is believed to be an assault rifle, a law enforcement source told CBS News correspondent Bob Orr. Authorities also recovered a gas mask.

Who “believes” it to be an assault rifle? There is no real criteria for what constitutes an assault rifle. If you kill someone with an assault rife is he somehow “more dead” than if you kill him with a non-assault rifle? Is killing someone with a non-assault rifle less wrong in some moral way?

A law enforcement source said the suspect also had a bullet proof vest, ballistic helmet and military SWAT clothing.

Bullet proof vest, helmets and SWAT clothing will soon be made illegal.

The nature of the attack suggests it was well planned.

Planning is already a terrorist activity. Would the people he shot be less dead if this were not “well planned”?

Holmes, the suspect, has no known criminal record. He previously lived in San Diego, records show. The Associated Press reported that Holmes dropped out of University of Colorado School of Medicine last month, citing a school spokesperson.

California. Fuck yes. Public education. Fuck yes. University of Colorado School of Medicine. Fuck yes.

According to the University of Colorado, Denver, Holmes was in the process of dropping out of the school’s graduate program in neurosciences. School spokeswoman Jacque Montgomery said in a statement that Holmes enrolled at the school in June 2011. She didn’t say why he was withdrawing. The University of California, Riverside, confirmed to CBS News that Holmes graduated in 2010 with a degree in neuroscience.

It was the worst mass shooting in the United States since 32 people were killed on the Virginia Tech campus in 2007.

Given how the 99% accept the use of force and violence and murder to solve problems I’d say it’s pretty fucking impressive we’ve gone this long without anther member of the medicated generation wacking out and killing people.

Victims were being treated for chemical exposure apparently related to canisters thrown by the gunman.

Canisters will be made illegal.

President Barack Obama addressed the shooting from Fort Myers, Fla., calling for a moment of silence. “There are going to be other days for politics,” Mr. Obama said. “This, I think, is a day for prayer and reflection.” The president thanked the gathered crowd and told them he was grateful for their support. “I was looking forward to having a fun conversation with you about some really important matters we face as a country … the differences between myself and my opponent in this election,” he said. “But this morning we woke up to news of a tragedy that reminds us of all the ways we are united as one American family.”

The Messiah loves this. He is going to milk this for all it’s worth. He’s going to push for more laws, more taxes and blame Republicans. His speech writers are pissing themselves with joy right now.

His family issued a statement of sympathy for the victims and asked for privacy while they “process this information.”

What is there to process? You failed as parents. You failed to raise a child who could understand that the initiation of force against other people is wrong. Nothing to process here.

Confusion reigned as shooting broke out during an action scene in the summer blockbuster, one of the more highly anticipated films of the year. The gunman may have blended in with other moviegoers who wore costumes as heroes and villains.

Going to public places in costumes will be restricted, if not make illegal. Did I mention metal detectors at cinemas?

White House officials saw no connection to terrorism, an Obama spokesman said.

But they will find one.

In New York, police will deploy officers at screenings of “The Dark Knight Rises” throughout the city “as a precaution against copycats,” Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said in a statement. The Paris movie premiere was cancelled on Friday, event organizers said.

Because you are so stupid that you will rush out to Batman movies and kill people. And of course the French are pussies.
